UPDATE: UK Wins SEC Tournament Title
The Kentucky Wildcats captured Southeastern Conference college basketball tournament title Sunday with a 75-74 overtime win over Mississippi State in Nashville. UK’s John Wall was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. The pairings for the men’s NCAA tournament will be announced at 6:00pm Sunday.
UK Eliminated From NIT
The season is over for the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team. The Wildcats fell to Notre Dame 77-67 Wednesday night in South Bend in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament. The Irish advance to the tournament’s Final Four at Madison Square Garden.
