Thomas Schroeder of Illinois was convicted for not paying nearly $800 thousand in federal income taxes. He will serve 46 months in prison. That will be followed by two years of supervised release.

U Of L To Create New Oversight Office
Starting on July 1st, the school will have an Associate Vice President for Audit and Compliance. The position links together the offices of privacy, information security and audit services, and will make sure the university is in line with internal policy and state law.
