To Keep Graduates, It Takes More Than Jobs

Charlotte ranks above Louisville in education attainment and in higher wage technical and professional jobs. In addition to an educated workforce and tax incentives for businesses, Charlotte’s professional sports, support for the arts, climate and improved public transportation helped keep graduates in town while also helping recruit companies that would hire those graduates.

Dometic Corporation Moving HQ To Louisville

An Elkhart, Indiana company has announced it will move its North and South American headquarters to Louisville, creating nearly 100 new jobs. Dometic Corporation makes refrigeration units, climate control systems and other products for the RV, maritime and medical industries.
