The Department of Defense says 23 year old Marine Sergeant Jason Calo of Lexington was killed Sunday while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province.
The Department of Defense says an Army soldier from Hardin County, Kentucky has been killed in Afghanistan. Twenty year old Pfc. Nathaniel Garvin of Radcliff died Monday at a base in Kandahar in a non-combat related incident.
