The Clark Memorial Bridge has been cleared after a head-on collision killed one person and closed the bridge for several hours this afternoon. Two others were critically injured.
The accident happened just before 1:00pm, when according to reports, the driver of a pickup truck suffered a seizure, drifted into the lane of oncoming traffic and hit a Ford Taurus, killing the driver.
Louisville Metro EMS officials said both Jeffersonville Police and Metro EMS responded to the accident. The two drivers and a passenger in the pickup truck had to be cut out of their vehicles.
The bridge was re-opened before 4:00 this afternoon.
