Friday, Oct. 14, on State of the News, we chatted with Peter Smith, Religion Writer from the Courier-Journal. He discussed his recent feature article on Archbishop Joseph Kurtz‘s burgeoning career within the Catholic Church. Kurtz continues to rise in prominence within the Church, and many speculate he is a leading candidate for archbishop in a major American city, and possibly even cardinal.
We also talked about the ongoing story of some Amish men in Kentucky being ordered to jail for their refusal – on religious grounds – to display orange reflective triangles on their buggies.
