Flash flood warnings and watches remain in effect for parts of Kentucky through early Monday morning as heavy rainfall moves out of the region.
The heaviest rains fell during the weekend in western, southern and central Kentucky, with floodwaters blocking numerous roads and prompting some vehicle rescues. More than three inches of rain have fallen in the Louisville area, with five to ten inches recorded elsewhere in the state.
There have been scattered road closures in Louisville because of high water.
Motorists are advised to use caution and not to drive through high water.
