The Leadership Louisville organization is preparing to move forward with the next phase of its Louisville Connectors project.
Based on a concept from author Malcolm Gladwell, the Louisville Connectors initiave was launched last year to identify people who are results-oriented leaders in their various sectors of the community.
Last month, 128 Louisville Connectors were chosen from thousands of nominees.
Louisville Leadership Center President Chris Johnson says now the group will get acquainted.
They have been really eager in telling us that they want to meet each other, to we’re making plans for an activity, an event to bring the Connectors together in just the next few weeks,” she said.
Johnson says its expected that many of the Connectors will take part in subsequent meetings to brainstorm and perhaps make policy recommendations.
The Connectors include leaders from the small business, corporate, academic, non-profit, government, faith and academic sectors.
