For all of the unsung artists in the world there must be a common dream; at some point during their life or later, someone in the world will come to recognize and appreciate their talent. Well that is happening now to Sidney D. Crosier of Corydon, Indiana.
Crosier was a promising artist, as a student he exhibited with the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the prominent art critic C.J. Bulliet was a fan. Larry Ordner and The Carnegie Center for Art and History in New Albany is out to change that. Join WFPL’s Robin Fisher as she talks with Ordner, co-curator of the exhibit Sidney D. Crosier; Hoosier Art Pioneer; A Sesquicentennial Reflection, 1858-1930.
