This Sunday will be Senior Day for the University of Louisville basketball team.
It will mark the last home game for centers David Padgett and Terrence Farley and forward Juan Palacios.
Coach Rick Pitino has high praise for all three seniors: “You never hear from these three guys what you hear from the young culture that you deal with today. You never hear about touches, you never hear about points, you never hear about minutes, you never hear about what the future’s going to bring. All you hear is about winning, about team, about effort.”
The three seniors will be honored prior to Sunday afternoon’s game against Villanova.
It will be an especially memorable day for Juan Palacios. His mother will travel to the U.S. from her native Colombia to watch her son play for the first time.
