Weather Update: Patchy Freezing Rain and Drizzle Till Midday
In its latest statement, the National Weather Service predicts patches of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle will continue through the late morning and into the afternoon hours. This follows more significant ice accumulations overnight.
Winter Storm Warning for Snow, Ice Tonight
Forecasters predict light snow this afternoon, changing to a mixture of sleet and eventually freezing rain late tonight and early tomorrow morning. We could see up to one quarter of an inch of freezing rain with higher amounts possible. Sleet and snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will also be possible before the onset of freezing rain.
