NPR’s Tom Bowman on Medal of Honor Recipient Dakota Meyer

Former Marine Corporal Dakota Meyer was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor last week, becoming the third living recipient of the nation’s highest combat honor and first living Marine recipient of the award since the Vietnam War. Tom Bowman covered the story for NPR, and he joined us Friday on State of the News to share what he learned about Cpl. Meyer’s story, and where he is now.
