Each precinct in the state is required to have four election officers. Some of the duties include attending a mandatory training session, processing voters and completing and returning paperwork to the county clerk’s office on election night.
Voters and those involved in getting votes counted on Election Day are calling this election a big one. And with its record numbers of registered voters there’s more scrutiny of the voting process.
Many Kentucky counties are seeking poll workers for the November 4th election. Each precinct must have at least four election workers, but with an above-average turnout expected in November, many are seeking additional staff.
