Led by Brandon Knight’s 30 points, UK overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to eliminate the Mountaineers in an East Regional third round game in Tampa, Florida.
The Wildcats take on West Virginia at noon Saturday in the East Regional in Tampa. Morehead State r meets Richmond at 5:00pm in the Southwest Regional in Denver. The Eagles are coming off Thursday’s one-point upset of Louisville.

The fourth-seeded Louisville Cards and number 13 Morehead State Eagles will square off Thursday in the Southwest Region in Denver. The Kentucky Wildcats also open play Thursday. UK is seeded fourth in the East Region and will play Princeton—a 13 seed—in Tampa, Florida.
The win gives Connecticut an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament next week. U of L is expected to receive an at-large bid when the pairings are announced Sunday evening.
