North Oldham Falls In Little League World Series

North Oldham suffered its first loss in the Little League World Series today.

The team from La Grange, representing the Great Lakes Region, fell to Huntington Beach, California, at the tournament in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The World Series is a double-elimination tournament, meaning teams must lose twice to be eliminated.

North Oldham opened series play Friday with a 1-0 win over Keystone, Pennsylvania. The team’s next opponent is Georgia. They’ll square off at 4:00pm tomorrow.

Jeff Little Leaguers Head To World Series

A team of 12 year olds from Jeffersonville, Indiana has arrived in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to play in the Little League World Series.
