Health officials say a 39 yeaw old Scott County, Kentucky man is the state’s sixth H1N1, or swine flu fatality. Matt Finger died at home on October 3. Authorities say Finger had no apparent underlying health problems. Other H1N1 deaths have been recorded in Fayette (2), Jefferson, Caldwell and Christian Counties.

Health officials say a 60 year old Lexington woman has died from the H1N1 flu. It’s the second confirmed H1N1 death in Fayette County and the fifth in Kentucky. The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says the woman had other underlying health conditions. Kentucky has also confirmed H1N1 deaths in Jefferson, Christian and Caldwell Counties.
