Big East Conference

The Kentucky Wildcats defeated Florida 74-71 today to advance to the championship game of the Southeastern Conference Tournament in New Orleans.

Doron Lamb, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis, Marquis Teague and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist all scored in double figures for UK, which has won 24 straight and will face Vanderbilt tomorrow for the SEC Tournament title. The Commodores defeated Ole Miss in the other semifinal game.

Louisville returns to action tonight in the Big East Tournament championship game against Cincinnati. Tipoff is 9:00pm.
