The estimated cost of building Louisville’s new downtown arena has been lowered by $5 million. The project construction manager has announce a new estimate of $249 million, down from the original $254 million.
Beshear Discusses Casino Plan With House Members
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is moving forward with plans to introduce casino gambling legislation this week. In a speech to the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers Monday, Governor Beshear said the state desperately needs new revenue and casino gambling can provide it.
