Western Kentucky University earned its way into the men’s NCAA Tournament’s 64 team field with a 59-58 victory over Mississippi Valley State tonight.

The Hilltoppers came back from a 16-point deficit with less than five minutes remaining to win the play-in game in Dayton, where the spectators included President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Western will face overall number one seed Kentucky Thursday at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville. Tipoff is 6:50pm.

In the NCAA Division Two tournament, defending champion Bellarmine defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 79-74 to advance to the Elite Eight round next week in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
