The Federal Emergency Management Agency is in Northern Kentucky’s Kenton County, assessing the damage from Friday’s storms.

“We have 88 homes that have been destroyed in Kenton County, completely destroyed. We have another 250 homes that are uninhabitable, and 138 homes that have been affected by the storm that are inhabitable at this time,” said Kenton County Police spokesman Andrew Schierberg

The severe weather is blamed for at least three deaths in Kenton County.

Schierberg says some residents are being allowed back to their homes. He says people curious to see the destruction are interfering with damage assessment and utility crews who are resetting poles and lines.
