Segment A: We’ll hear this week’s metro news, including No Child Left Behind waivers for Kentucky and Indiana, and Chief Administrative Officer William Summers’ retirement from city government.

Segment B: Kenny Colston joins us from Frankfort with a conversation about what’s happened this week in the legislature. We’ll also listen to Phillip M. Bailey‘s interview with two African-American LGBTQ activists about underlying tensions involving race and sexual orientation in Louisville.

Segment C: The Courier-Journal’s James Carroll will catch us up on the latest in GOP primaries and this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference. Then we’ll hear Devin Katayama‘s profile of former State Senator Georgia Powers.
