Gabe Bullard hosts our weekly news round up today, and here’s a quick look at some of the topics.

1:06pm:  Metro news stories including the MSD shake up, hospital merger documents, the release of child welfare documents, Archbishop Kelly’s passing, and questions about one of Mayor Fischer’s advisors, among others.

1:30pm:  Kentucky has one of the highest rates in the country of youth incarceration for status offenses.  Deborah Yetter wrote about this extensively for the Courier-Journal, and she joins us to review the series.

1:40pm:  The commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War is now in full swing across the country and two exhibits in Louisville explore Kentucky’s unique position as a Civil War border state.

1:48pm:  We’ll discuss Leo Weekly’s 2011 Loserville Awards (Remembering a Year That Should Have Been Better) with two staff writers/editors, Joe Sonka and Sarah Kelley.
