The Louisville Cardinals defeated South Florida 34-24 today, ending an 0 for 4 drought at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium and securing at least a share of the Big East Conference title.
It was a back-and-forth game until the fourth quarter, when Teddy Bridgewater’s touchdown pass to Devonte Parker put the Cards ahead for good.
U of L finishes the regular season with a 7-5 overall record and a 5-2 mark in the Big East.
The Cards may have to wait until next weekend to find out if they’ll win the conference’s automatic bid to a Bowl Championship Series game.
They’ll secure the bid if Cincinnati loses one of its two final games.
