11am – 1pm
The Splendid Table’s Turkey Confidential with Lynne Rossetto Kasper
Help is on the way for Thanksgiving cooks, kitchen helpers and dinner guests on this, the biggest cooking day of the year. Lynne Rossetto Kasper will answer listener questions LIVE. Lynne handles all questions with wit, expertise and laughter. Guests this year include Jacques Pepin, Garrison Keillor, Ruth Reichl and Jane and Michael Stern.

1pm – 3pm
The Hidden World of Girls
Hosted by actress and writer Tina Fey, the special showcases stories of coming of age, rituals, rites of passage, and trailblazing for women. These stories are produced by the Peabody Award-winning Kitchen Sisters, Nikki Silva and Davia Nelson, and NPR, in collaboration with listeners around the world.

4:30 – 5pm
Bailey White’s Thanksgiving Story
Continuing a three-decade tradition, writer and commentator Bailey White tells a long-form story for Thanksgiving on All Things Considered. This year, the tale takes place not in White’s native Georgia, but in Vermont, where a Florida painter attempts to capture a true Vermont scene on canvas.

8pm – 10pm
Third Coast International Festival 2011: The Best of the Best
This perennial favorite presents the winning entries of the 11th annual Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. This is THE place to hear the most accomplished producers and best emerging talent from around the world, artists who are shaping the future of public radio. Award-winning host and humorist Gwen Macsai (author of Lipshtick) hosts the show with appearances from some surprise guests.
