The University of Louisville football team will play its regular season finale Friday at South Florida.
The Cards are in the hunt for a share of the Big East Conference championship and a chance to play in a Bowl Championship Series game.
But U of L Coach Charlie Strong doesn’t want to talk about post-season possibilities with his team just yet.
“I don’t know if we’re mature enough to handle that right now, and with our leadership. I think the guys see it and they hear it, but just where we are right now, I try to get our guys just to focus on this
next game. Let’s go beat South Florida and we’ll worry about where we are,” Strong said today.
U of L is winless in four tries at South Florida and the Bulls have won the last two meetings in the series.
Friday’s kickoff is 11:00am at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Six teams are still alive for at least a share of the Big East title. The outcome may not be decided until December 3, when all teams have finished their regular season schedules.
