U of L Takes On Pitt In Home Football Finale

by Rick Howlett on November 11, 2011

The University of Louisville Cardinals play their final home game of the football season tomorrow.

U of L hosts Pittsburgh, which has slipped to 4-5 on the season after a loss last week against Cincinnati.

U of L senior defensive end Greg Scruggs says it will be tough for him to leave the program at season’s end.

“I’m jealous of those guys who get to play here for the next two, three, four years. If I could petition to come back for one more year, excluding spring ball, summer training, and training camp, I would,” he joked.

The Cards are riding a three-game winning streak and can become bowl-eligible with a victory. Kickoff at Papa Johns’ Cardinal Stadium is at noon.

Kentucky returns to action tomorrow afternoon at Vanderbilt. Indiana is idle this weekend.
