Teddy Bridgewater threw two touchdown passes and Victor Anderson ran for 93 yards as the University of Louisville defeated Syracuse 27-10 today at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
The Cards evened their overall record to 4-4, and improved to 2-1 in Big East Conference play. It marked the first time U of L has recorded back-to-back conference victories in five years.
The game also included an appearance by injured cornerback Anthony Conner in the first half, who rode into the stadium on a golf cart. Conner broke his neck a week ago against Rutgers and has begun walking again.
The Cards visit West Virginia next Saturday.
The Kentucky Wildcats dropped to 3-5 on the season with a 28-16 loss to Mississippi State. UK hosts Ole Miss next week.
The Indiana Hoosiers recorded thier sixth straight loss, falling to Northwestern 59-31 in Bloomington.
