Cards Drop Third Straight, 25-16 at Cincinnati

In college football today, the University of Louisville fell to Cincinnati 25-16. It was the Cards’ third straight loss, and their fourth consecutive defeat in their annual series with the Bearcats.

U of L led for most of the game and took a 16-14 lead into the fourth quarter, but Cincinnati scored 11 unanswered points to secure the win.

The Cards are now 2-4 on the season; Cincinnati improves to 5-1.

U of L will host Rutgers next Friday night.

The Indiana Hoosiers fell to 1-6 on the season with a 59-7 loss at number four Wisconsin. IU visits Iowa next Saturday.

Kentucky returns to action Saturday against Jacksonville State in Lexington.
