A western-themed bar that featuring a mechanical bull will locate soon in 4th Street Live.
The Courier-Journal reports that PBR Louisville, a franchise of Professional Bull Riders, Inc., will be housed in a second floor space on the district’s east side. It’s expected to open early next year.
The space will be vacated soon by Saddle Ridge, which owes more than $133,000 in back rent, according to a suit filed by Cordish Company, the owners of 4th Street Live.
Cordish will also be looking to fill the space now held by Red Star Tavern, which will close October 18, and the corner building left vacant by the closure of Borders Books and Music.
