Bob Edwards in Louisville: Here and Now

by Brad Yost on September 21, 2011

Bob Edwards visits Louisville this week for two public appearances.  WFPL’s Graham Shelby had a candid chat with him about the state of the media, politics and his ouster from NPR after 24 years as the host of Morning Edition.  Edwards has just published a memoir, A Voice in the Box: My Life in Radio.

Edwards will visit the Filson Historical Society on Thursday, September 22nd at 6pm.  He will then visit the Carnegie Center in New Albany on Saturday, September 24th at 6pm.  Bob will speak at both events and will be available to sign copies of his new book following the interviews.
