Earlier today, Mayor Greg Fischer signed an order that extends domestic partner benefits to employees of the Metro Government. WFPL’s Phillip M. Bailey was there, and he’ll tell us how it happened and how it will be implemented.

A study paid for by LG&E found coal ash on homes in Southwest Louisville. Erica Peterson got a copy of the study and she’ll explain what it means legally for LG&E, and whether nearby residents could be at risk.

Senate President and Republican gubernatorial candidate David Williams has suggested abolishing the Jefferson County School Board. This did not go over well with the Jefferson County School Board. Devin Katayama has the story.
