Today on State of the News

by Laura Ellis on May 27, 2011

We’ll chat with WFPL’s political editor Phillip M. Bailey and News Director Gabe Bullard about Louisville’s new budget, check in on discretionary spending by members of the Louisville Metro Council, and talk about other metro stories. Later we’ll check in with Steve Ivey and John Karman from Business First to find out what’s going on in the business world – including how the PGA tournament effects the local economy. Finally we’ll hear from the C-J’s Jim Carroll in Washington, to see how Kentucky Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul have been part of the national conversation this week on Medicare and the Patriot Act.
