Indiana Representative Mike Pence is expected to declare his candidacy for Governor of Indiana tomorrow.
The Tea Party favorite will likely make the announcement in a morning conference call.
A number of factors have pointed to a Pence gubernatorial campaign. His likely chief rival, former Democratic Governor and Senator Evan Bayh recently declined to run. Pence resigned his leadership post in the U.S. House shortly after winning re-election. Pence hinted at a presidential bid, but then abandoned those plans. And, most recently, he sent out an e-mail containing the slogan “Mike for Indiana.”
