STATE OF AFFAIRS 01/27/11:  Nuclear Zero, total worldwide disarmament, is a concept that reads like science fiction to most of us and yet, with accords like the Non-Proliferation Treaty, many governments seem to be trying for just that, albeit slowly. What developments lie ahead and how can citizens affect the pace of détente? We sit down with David Cortright, author & Director of Policy Studies at Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute, to discuss the future of nuclear disarmament and the policies needed to reach zero.
