Kentucky State Treasurer Todd Hollenbach is officially seeking a second term.
The Louisville Democrat stopped by the Secretary of State’s office to file his papers and pay the $500 qualifying fee.
Hollenbach will have opposition in the May primary from Steve Hamrick of Louisville. Hamrick, a former Republican, qualified Tuesday.
Republican K.C. Crosbie of Lexington is also in the race. She’s a three-term Urban County Council member.
The qualifying deadline is next Tuesday.
