The University of Louisville’s College of Arts and Sciences will conduct its “Meet the Professors” lecture series beginning this Thursday.
Dean of Arts and Sciences Dr. Blaine Hudson says the discussions will span a variety of topics.
“Professor Patrick Pranke of our humanities division (will talk) about “Saints, Wizards, Generals and the Lady,” in relation to popular Buddhism political power in Burma. We’ll have a professor from our Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Barbara Burns, talking about babies, bonding and the brain,” he said.
Hudson says the talks will be held monthly during the spring semester. The lectures will be at noon in the University Club.
Reservations are required and lunch will be provided. There’s a fee to cover costs. More information can be found here.
