Dwight Moody, President of the Academy of Preachers, says the festival is the only one of its kind in the nation.
“That’s designed to identify, network, support and inspire young people who want to preach. We have present here for the festival young preachers from Roman Catholic, Greek Antioch and Orthodox, Pentecostal all the Evangelical traditions all the Protestant traditions,” he said.
The morning sessions are at the Seelbach Hotel and afternoon sessions are at the Cathedral of the Assumption.
The festival, which began today and runs through Saturday, is free and open to the public.
