Retailers will be busy over the next several days with people returning or exchanging holiday gifts.
Bruce Gadansky with the Better Business Bureau in Louisville says people should be aware of return deadlines.
“Don’t wait, you know, a couple of months. Sometimes we’ll have people say well you know I bought the thing in August and they won’t take it back well they’ve got a thirty day return policy,” he said.
Gadansky says while it’s always better to have a receipt most stores will work with customers within reason.
He also says people should be patient because there are usually long lines of customers returning items.
