The Jefferson County Board of Education could decide Monday whether to extend the contract of Superintendent Sheldon Berman.
The board will hold a special meeting to conduct an interim evaluation of Berman, whose four-year contract ends in June.
The panel will hold a closed door session starting at 4:30. Board chair Debbie Wesslund tells the Courier-Journal that a contract extension vote could follow.
Berman says he wants to continue to lead the district.
