Businessman Steve Forbes will be in Louisville Monday evening.
Forbes will kick off a speaking tour at the Kentucky Center. He and the CEO of Northwestern Mutual will speak to business executives about investing in the current economy.
Forbes is the heir and current CEO of Forbes, Inc, which publishes Forbes Magazine. He sought the Republican nomination for President in 1996 and 2000, but was unsuccessful both times. He later advised Rudy Giuliani and John McCain in their 2008 presidential bids.
Earlier this year, Forbes endorsed Rand Paul in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate.
After speaking in Louisville, Forbes will travel to five other cities in Ohio, Indiana, Missouri and Texas.
