Bluegrass Poll Gives Yarmuth Four-Point Lead Over Lally

by Gabe Bullard on October 26, 2010

The latest Bluegrass Poll in the Third District Congressional race gives Democratic incumbent John Yarmuth a four-point lead over Republican challenger Todd Lally.

The poll was conducted for WHAS-11 and the Courier-Journal between last Thursday and Monday. It gives Yarmuth fifty percent of the vote compared to Lally’s 46 percent, with a 4.1 percent margin of error.

A previous Bluegrass Poll conducted in late August gave Yarmuth a narrower lead, with 47 percent to Lally’s 45 percent. Insight’s CN2 news channel’s polls have given Yarmuth a wider lead.

Also in the race are Libertarian Ed Martin and independent Michael Hansen. They each earned one percent of the vote in the latest poll.
