For the second year in a row, officials from the Breeders’ Cup and the Paulick Report, an on-line thoroughbred publication, are teaming up for the “Breeders’ Cup or Bust” tour.

The event is an 85 mile walk from Lexington to Louisville for the 2010 Breeders’ Cup World Championships November 5 and 6.

Event organizer Brad Cummings, says it’s a fundraiser for several charities.

“The Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund, the V Foundation for Cancer Research which is part of Breeders’ Cup Charities and the Thoroughbred Charities of America which is a charity that among other things helps retired race horses,” he said.

Cummings says they hope to raise $100,000.

“Breeders’ Cup or Bust” will begin at Keeneland Race Course on Wednesday and will arrive in Louisville November 4.
