by Rick Howlett on October 15, 2010

For the second year in a row, Louisville’s 21c Museum Hotel has been voted the best in the country by readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

The readers’ survey also ranked 21c the sixth-best hotel in the world.

The boutique hotel, owned by spouses Steve Wilson and Laura Lee Brown, was
founded in 2006 and includes an art gallery and the highly rated Proof on Main restaurant.

Second place in the Conde Nast readers poll of top U.S. hotels went to the Peninsula in Chicago; the Mandarin Oriental in Boston was third.
