For those of us of a certain age, the phrase “group therapy” may conjure up images of the old Bob Newhart show. In the real world group therapy is a well-respected technique used in treating everything from couples issues to post-traumatic stress in veterans. But how does it actually work? And who does and doesn’t do best in a group setting? Join us on Monday when we learn more about group therapy.

Group therapy can be helpful especially grief support groups
.This is because those in the group provide support to each other which in turn help resolve some of the pain. During group therapy, people tend to understand that they are not alone, and that many people are going through the same issues.
