It’s time again for State of the News. This week we’ll start with a little Metro new and hear about the JCPS lawsuit dismissal, the latest on the mayoral race among other news. Next we’ll move on to some education news and we’ll wrap up the hour with a recap of last week’s Fancy Farm political picnic. Join us this week on State of the News.

It was mentioned, during the Fancy Farm wrap-up, that 61% (or a similar large number) of people are not happy with the Obama healthcare reforms.
I have never heard of these statistics being broken down. How many don’t like Obama care because of the (much documented) conservative/Republican/Tea Party objections; and how many don’t like it because it does not go far enough i.e. public option, ect. the liberal/Democrat objections?
I’m sure there are many on the left who feel betrayed or compromised by the health care bill because it does not institute European and Canadian style healthcare policies.
