The Louisville Urban League will host its 7th annual Community Career Expo Jeffersontown Wednesday.

Urban League President Ben Richmond says more than 40 employers are expected to participate.

“Any person that’s looking to obtain a job, or to upgrade a job, to come out and be prepared, look the part, have a good resume, and interact with these employers.”

Richmond says about one thousand job openings are available through the various employers, which include UPS, Kroger, Norton Healthcare and Jewish Hospital.

The expo runs from 10am-3pm at the Jeffersontown Community Center.

The event is free and open to job-seekers age 18 and older.
