Boil Advisory In Effect For Some In S. Jefferson County

by Rick Howlett on May 17, 2010

The Louisville Water Company has issued a boil water advisory for about one thousand people in southern Jefferson County.

The advisory was posted after pressure dropped in two elevated storage tanks.

It affects customers within the boundary East Pages Lane, St. Andrews Church Road and Third Street Road.

Customers should boil any water intended for consumption for three minutes, avoid consuming water from chilled refrigerator lines or ice from automatic ice machines.
