Sentencing is scheduled for Monday in U.S. District Court  for former University of Louisville College of Education Dean Robert Felner.

Felner faces more than five years in prison and must pay more than $2 million in restitution after pleading guilty in January to charges related to the misuse of federal grants.

He and associate Thomas Schroeder were indicted on charges of defrauding U of L and the University of Rhode Island out of some $2.3 million.

Shroeder is scheduled to stand trial in August.
