About 2800 degrees are expected to be conferred tomorrow afternoon at the University of Louisville’s spring commencement ceremony.

U-of-L spokesperson Cindy Hess says the main commencement speaker will be University President James Ramsey.

“We also have our Trustees Award winner, Mary Hum, she will be speaking as well, she’s a professor in the College of Education, and our student speaker will Caleb Bastion, he’s in the School of Dentistry, and he’s also an outstanding student for the spring 2010 semester,” says Hess.

The ceremony is set for one o’clock at Freedom Hall.

The University of Kentucky also is set to hold its commencement tomorrow in Lexington.

Bellarmine University also holds its commencement tomorrow at noon in Louisville.
