A Florida-based long-term health care corporation is moving its corporate headquarters to Louisville. Signature HealthCARE of Palm Beach Gardens operates 66 long-term health care facilities in the southeast U.S.

Governor Steve Beshear says the announcement is a clear sign Louisville is becoming a hub in the long-term health-care industry.

“We’ve got a number of those businesses and those companies now in Kentucky, and this addition really just strengthens our claim to be really the center for the long-term health care industry now in the whole country,” says Beshear.

Signature HealthCARE plans to build its five-point-four million dollar headquarters on Bluegrass Parkway in Louisville. They’ve accepted about four-million dollars in economic tax incentives over ten years.

Beshear says the company will provide 96 new jobs for Louisvillians, and maybe more as the company grows.
